Hello.
An Experience Designer, an Agile Practitioner, a Problem-solver, and a Visual Communicator.
I'm Shruti.
I enjoy exploring the curious aspects of everyday life. I was born and raised in India and now call San Francisco home. Over the past 24 years, living in 3 cities has taught me how culture, people, and behaviors can vary within just a hundred miles. These experiences have helped me quickly adapt to new conditions and changes.
What am I working on recently?
With a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction from California College of the Arts, I started working as a Sr. User Experience Designer at 7-Eleven, leading the end-to-end design for the 7NOW marketplace admin and merchant portals and building a robust design system, all while working as an individual contributor.

What does UX/ Product Designer mean to me?
As a UX/Product Designer with a background in Visual Design, my goal is to make technology easier to use by advocating for users' needs and creating accessible and inclusive tools and experiences.

Imagine painting a mural. You start with a blank wall and a vision. You gather your materials, sketch your design, and bring it to life layer by layer. You consider the viewers' perspective, the colors that will stand out, and the details that will resonate with people. Similarly, in UX design, I craft digital experiences by starting with user needs and iteratively building and refining solutions that are engaging and impactful.

Here's How It All Began!
Curious About My Journey?
My journey began as the quiet, artsy kid at the back of the classroom, constantly doodling in my workbooks. I have a passion for understanding how individuals evolve with technology. When I’m not crafting experiences, you can often find me near the beach, appreciating the vibrant hues of the sunset.

My sweet Amma
(Great-grand Mother)
Growing up in a joint family where four generations lived together, I witnessed my great-grandmother and grandparents struggle with technology. I aim to create inclusive and accessible designs across generations.

Design isn’t just a career for me; it’s a blend of my passions for art, storytelling, and psychology. I’m on a mission to bring positive change to society through creative, inclusive, and impactful designs.
